John C. Pickhardt

John C. Pickhardt, age 56, died December 27th under the care of Hospice Savannah with his loving wife Ann and faithful companion Duncan by his side.
John was born in Tonawanda, New York and lived in Savannah most of his life.
He was in sales. He was a member of the Forest City Gun Club and The Landings Yacht Club. John volunteered at the Olympic Sailing Venue and with the Coastal Conservation Association. He loved to cook and grill and often volunteered his skills for various fund raising activities.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Pickhardt of Savannah; step-daughter, RieRie Rubadue and husband Mike; children, Ross and Anna and step-son, Will Fricks and wife Karyn; daughter, Aria; brothers, Walter, Tom, and Paul Pickhardt; sister, Kathy Haver and mother, Elizabeth Pickhardt. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Pickhardt.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Sunday December 30th at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Father Jason Adams presiding. Interment will follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
The family suggests any remembrances be made in his memory to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
